Graham Cracker's Daycare Center INC.

To be honest, I’m pretty torn about Graham Cracker's. While the classrooms look cute and they have nice toys like the puppet theater, I’m really worried about the actual upkeep and health standards. The Roseland area doesn't have a ton of options, but this place feels overcrowded lately. My little one seems to come home with a new bug every single week, and I honestly don't think they're doing deep cleans as often as they should. Communication about when other kids are out sick is super hit-or-miss, which makes it impossible to plan. I looked up their inspection history recently and it wasn't exactly glowing, which explains a lot. It’s okay if you’re in a pinch, but for the price, I expected a much cleaner and more organized environment for the kids.

My toddler has been at Graham Cracker's for about six months now and honestly, I'm pretty relieved with how they handle the usual daycare germs. The facility on Michigan Ave always smells fresh when I drop him off, and you can tell they're actually scrubbing the toys down daily. They are super strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a total pain when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the 'perma-cough' from spreading through the whole class like at our last place. They're also great about keeping us updated on the app if any kid in his group comes down with something like hand, foot, and mouth so we can keep an eye out. It’s a solid, clean spot for the Roseland area.
