Graham Crackers Before & After School Center, INC.

To be honest, I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health situation at Graham Crackers lately. It feels like as soon as my kid gets over one cold, they’re coming home with another one because the sick-child policy isn't strictly enforced. The facility in Roseland is convenient for my commute, but the space feels pretty cramped and I've noticed the cleaning isn't always top-notch, especially in the common play areas. Communication from the staff about illness outbreaks in the classroom is hit or miss, so I’m usually the last to know when something is going around. I wish they’d prioritize the wellness side of things more because it's hard to keep my little one healthy when the environment feels so neglected.

I've had my son at Graham Crackers for about a year now and honestly, they do a pretty solid job with keeping things clean. It's a daycare, so you expect some sniffles, but they're really good about letting parents know when something is going around the Roseland area. They have a strict 'no fever' policy which can be a pain when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the whole group healthier in the long run. My stay-at-home friends are always surprised how rarely he comes home with a major bug compared to other places. It’s not a fancy wellness spa or anything, just a reliable, clean spot where they actually remember to make the kids wash their hands after playing outside.

Graham Crackers Before & After School Center has been a wonderful part of our child’s daily routine, not only as a safe and fun space but also one that really promotes healthy habits. The kids spend real time outdoors each afternoon, and the team makes sure everyone stays active and engaged instead of glued to screens. I also appreciate that they encourage healthy snacks and mindful eating, which reinforces what we do at home. Beyond physical health, the staff here truly understands how to create a supportive, low-stress environment for kids winding down from school. My child comes home both energized and calm — a sign they’ve felt supported all day. It’s clear the Graham Crackers team sees wellness as more than just food or exercise, it’s about helping kids manage emotions, develop resilience, and build connections. It’s a place where health and happiness go hand in hand, and we’re so glad to be part of it.
