  • So far my experience with Gan Gani on Clybourn has been okay, but there are a few things to keep in mind. I love the Hebrew immersion aspect and the teachers are really warm, but as a daycare center in a busy city space, the illness stuff is a constant struggle. It feels like every other week there's a cold or something going around, and while they have wellness policies, they don't always seem super strict about keeping slightly sniffly kids home, so things spread fast. The facility is fine but definitely showing its age in some spots—I wish there were more updates to the ventilation or play areas. It's a sweet community, but if you're looking for a super high-end clinical health environment, this is more of a standard, slightly chaotic daycare vibe.

  • Honestly, since my little one started at Gan Gani, I’ve been pretty impressed with how they handle the germs that come with daycare life. They are super proactive about illness—if a kid has a runny nose or a fever, they actually stick to the sick policy which keeps the whole class from getting taken out. The facility on Clybourn always smells clean (not like a bleach bomb, just fresh) and they really encourage the kids to wash their hands properly while they're doing the Hebrew immersion stuff. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the communication can be a little slow when there's a minor bug going around, but overall, it's a solid, healthy environment for the kids.
