To be honest, I'm pretty frustrated with the health situation here. The communication when kids get sick is almost non-existent, and it feels like the classrooms are constantly passing around the same bug because the cleaning isn't up to par. It’s a smaller facility, so you’d think they’d have a better handle on things, but it often feels cramped and the air just feels stale. I’ve had to keep my little one home more than I expected since we started. It’s hard to trust the wellness culture when it seems like they’re just doing the bare minimum to stay open.

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with how clean Czerwony Kapturek stays. It’s a smaller daycare, which I think helps with the germ sitch compared to some of those massive centers in Chicago. I never have to worry about my kid coming home with weird rashes or anything. They seem pretty strict about their sick policy—if a kid has a fever, they actually have to stay home, which I know is a pain for working parents but it keeps the rest of the class healthy. Communication is solid too, so if something is going around, you'll know about it. It’s just a reliable, clean environment for the little ones.
