Brickton Montessori School

Honestly, as a parent who is super picky about germs, Brickton has been a breath of fresh air. The classrooms are always really tidy, and you can tell they actually prioritize cleanliness instead of just talking about it. Since it's a smaller Montessori environment, they seem to stay on top of things better than the bigger schools in the area. The staff is great about communicating when something is going around, so we aren't left in the dark. It feels like a very calm, healthy space for the kids where they aren't just stuck in stuffy rooms all day.

Honestly, 10/10 for how clean they keep the classrooms. My kid is in the lower elementary program at Brickton and I’ve noticed they really lean into that Montessori 'order' when it comes to hygiene too. They’re super quick to send out emails if something like strep or a stomach bug is going around, which I appreciate because it helps me decide when to be extra cautious. My only gripe is their sick policy can be a bit strict sometimes—I once got called to pick up my son for a runny nose that was clearly just allergies—but I guess I'd rather they be over-protective than let everything spread through the school. Overall, a very healthy vibe and the teachers really encourage the kids to wash their hands and stay active.
