Honestly, Creative Little Ones is pretty middle-of-the-road when it comes to the health stuff. The facility on Halsted usually looks okay, but I've definitely seen better communication when a bug is going around the classroom. It feels like I'm usually the last to know when there's a flu outbreak. Their sick policy is standard—keep them home for 24 hours after a fever—but they aren't super strict about it, so you'll definitely see some sniffly kids in the morning drop-off. It's a convenient spot in Washington Heights, and the staff is nice, but I wish they'd step up the deep cleaning during peak allergy and cold seasons because my little one seems to bring everything home.

Honestly, Creative Little Ones has been pretty solid for my daughter. The classroom always smells like they just finished mopping, which is a relief during flu season. They are super strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a pain when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the bugs from spreading through the whole class. The teachers are great about reminding the littles to wash their hands, and they actually call you right away if your kid looks even a bit sluggish. Only downside is the communication can be a little slow sometimes when there's a localized stomach bug going around, but overall it's a clean and safe spot for the kids.
