  • To be honest, it’s been a rough experience at Childrens' World. The space on Lincoln Ave is pretty cramped and it definitely shows in how fast germs spread through the classes. I feel like my little one is coming home with a new bug every single week, and I’m not seeing much proactively done about it. The communication regarding illnesses going around is super vague, and while the staff is nice enough, they seem way too overwhelmed to keep up with deep cleaning. For what we pay, I expected a much cleaner environment and a more solid policy on keeping sick kids home.

  • I've had my toddler at Childrens' World for a few months now and honestly, I'm pretty happy with how they handle germs. It's a daycare in Chicago, so colds are kind of inevitable, but I notice the teachers are constantly wiping down surfaces and toy bins. They are definitely strict about the fever-free for 24 hours rule, which can be a pain when you're a working parent, but it keeps the whole class from getting taken out at once. Communication is usually just a quick note or chat at pickup, but they're good about letting us know if hand-foot-mouth or something else is going around the North Park area. It feels like a clean, safe spot for the kids.
