Childrens' World Daycare

I'm really on the fence about Children's World. On one hand, the teachers seem nice, but the cleanliness is a major concern for me. It feels like every other week my toddler is coming home with another bug, and I've seen kids with visible fevers or thick green runny noses just hanging out in the classroom. Communication from the staff about illness outbreaks is basically non-existent, so you never know what you're walking into. Plus, the facility on Lincoln Ave looks pretty dated inside and honestly could use a deep scrub; the floors often look grimy by pickup time. For what we're paying, I expected a much stricter sick policy and a more hygienic environment.

Childrens' World is decent, but honestly, it’s a typical daycare when it comes to the 'daycare plague.' My little one seems to bring home a new sniffle every other week. They do have a strict fever policy which I appreciate—they'll call you the second a kid looks flushed—but sometimes I wish the communication about what exactly is 'going around' the classroom was a bit more proactive. The facility on Lincoln Ave always looks clean enough when I drop off, but with so many toddlers in one spot, it's an uphill battle. It's a solid, average spot if you just need reliable care in North Park.
