  • Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation at Children's Palace. It feels like every other week my kid is coming home with a new bug, and I really don't think they’re enforcing their sick policy strictly enough. I’ve seen kids dropped off with clear fevers and runny noses, and the staff just lets it slide instead of sending them home. It’s hard enough for working parents without the daycare being a total germ factory. The communication about when a contagious illness is going around the classroom is also super hit or miss—we usually find out from other parents in the parking lot rather than an official notice from the center. For what we pay, I expected the facility to be much cleaner and for the staff to take student wellness more seriously than they do.

  • My little one has been at Children’s Palace for a few months now and overall it’s been a good experience. They actually stay on top of the cleaning—you can tell they really scrub the toys and floors because the place doesn't have that typical 'stale' daycare smell. They're pretty firm about their sick policy, which can be annoying when you have to miss work for a runny nose, but honestly, it’s kept the constant classroom bugs to a minimum this winter. Communication is okay; they'll give you a heads-up if something like hand-foot-and-mouth is going around, though I wish the updates came through a bit faster sometimes. It’s a solid, clean spot for the neighborhood.
