  • I really love the Montessori style at Drummond, but honestly, the state of the building is starting to worry me as a parent. There have been several recent maintenance requests for the boiler system and door locks, and you can definitely feel the age of the facility when you walk in. My main issue is the chronic absenteeism rate—it’s been hovering around 25% lately, which is a huge red flag for how they manage illness. It feels like every time a bug goes around, it just wipes out half the classroom because the ventilation isn't great and the sick-policy enforcement is pretty lax. With the budgets being shuffled around constantly in the CPS agendas, I'm just not seeing the investment in the actual health and safety of the physical space that our kids deserve.
