  • Honestly, I have mixed feelings about The Children's Place. Since it's a smaller daycare environment in Logan Square, you'd think they'd have a better handle on the revolving door of daycare germs, but my little one is home sick constanty. The staff is really sweet and they clearly care about the kids, but the communication when 'the crud' is going around the classroom is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes I get a heads-up, and other times I find out when my kid wakes up with a fever. The facility is older, so while they try to keep it clean, it just feels a bit worn down. It’s an okay spot if you need local care, but I’m definitely always stocked up on Tylenol because the sicknesses never seem to stop spreading there.
