  • I honestly have mixed feelings about Brightpath. The facility itself looks nice at first glance, but it feels like my kid is coming home with a new bug every single week. I know daycare germs are a thing, but the communication when there’s a breakout of HFMD or RSV in a classroom is super slow, so by the time I get the email, we’re already sick. It feels like they are understaffed and the teachers are too overwhelmed to really keep up with deep cleaning the toys or making sure handwashing is happening as much as it should. For what we pay, I expected a lot more focus on keeping the place sanitized and actually enforcing the sick-child policy instead of letting symptomatic kids stay.

  • Honestly, I've been pretty impressed with how Brightpath handles it when things start going around. They’re super on top of the '24-hour fever-free' rule which can be a pain if you have to work, but it definitely keeps the whole class from going down at once. The teachers are always wiping down the high chairs and play mats whenever I drop my little one off, so it feels like they actually care about the cleanliness side of things. My only real gripe is that the app notifications about a kid having hand-foot-mouth or whatever sometimes come in a bit late in the evening, but overall it’s a solid, clean spot for the kids.
