Honestly, this place is a bit of a mixed bag. It’s part of the Ada S. McKinley network, which is great because they have a lot of resources for Head Start families, but you definitely feel the 'inner city' struggle with staffing sometimes. My son's classroom is usually clean enough, but communication about when bugs are going around could be way better. I've had to find out from other moms in the parking lot that hand, foot, and mouth was spreading before the school even sent a note home. The teachers are sweet and clearly care, but they seem really stretched thin, which makes me worry about how much attention they can actually give to hand-washing and wiping down toys every day. It's an okay spot if you need the childcare, but you definitely have to stay on top of them regarding the health updates.
