Toured Angels 'R' Us recently and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, you can tell they are really trying to stay on top of the cleaning—I’ve seen them constantly posting for janitorial help, which hopefully means they’re prioritizing keeping those germs at bay in the classrooms. The Grand Boulevard location is convenient, but the facility itself feels a bit lived-in. I wish they were a little more transparent about their sick policy and how they handle it when a bug starts going around the neighborhood. It’s an okay spot if you need local care, but nothing specifically stood out as being super high-end in terms of wellness or health programming.

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with how Angels 'R' Us handles the germ situation. My little one is at the South Indiana Ave spot and the rooms always look and smell clean when I drop him off, which is a big relief for a city daycare. They are pretty strict about the fever policy—if your kid is sick, they have to stay home—but as a working parent, I actually appreciate that because it keeps the whole class from catching every little bug going around. The staff is great about communicating if something like hand-foot-and-mouth is popping up in other classrooms too. Only downside is sometimes the outdoor play gets skipped if the air quality or weather is even slightly off, but overall it's a solid, healthy environment for the kids.
