The YMCA is pretty much what you'd expect for a local community hub. On one hand, I love that my kid gets to be active and utilize the gym space, which is better than most corner daycares. But honestly, it’s a high-traffic building used by the whole public, and sometimes the cleanliness feels a bit 'hit or miss' in the common areas. The staff is great about telling us when something is going around, but the sick policy isn't always enforced strictly, so it feels like there’s always a kid with a runny nose in the classroom. It’s a solid 3 stars—reliable and affordable, but don't expect a sterile environment.
