  • Lutheran Day Nursery is definitely a typical city preschool. The staff is really sweet and they clearly care about the kids, but the building is older so you definitely notice the age. I've had some mixed feelings about the sick policy—it feels like there's always a cold or hand-foot-and-mouth going around, and while they do notify us, I wish they were a bit stricter about kid's coming back too soon. Cleanliness is okay, but with the high student-teacher ratio in some of the rooms, I think the teachers just get overwhelmed trying to sanitize everything. It's affordable and community-focused, but definitely keep your hand sanitizer ready!
