  • Solid choice for Bucktown parents who are worried about the usual daycare crud. We’ve been at Kensington for a bit now and I’m honestly impressed with how clean they keep the classrooms—you don't get that 'stale milk' smell you find at other spots. Their illness policy is actually pretty strict, which can be a total pain when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the revolving door of stomach bugs at bay. Communication from the staff is quick if someone in the class tests positive for something, so at least you aren't flying blind. It's an expensive neighborhood spot, but you can tell they actually invest in the facility maintenance and hand-washing routines.
