  • Tbh I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation at this center lately. The facility on Division feels really cramped and the cleanliness is hit or miss—I've noticed dust piling up in the play corners and the air just feels super stuffy, like the ventilation hasn't been touched in years. It feels like every time I turn around, my little one is coming home with another bug because the sick-child policy isn't strictly enforced. I've seen kids dropped off with clear fevers and runny noses and nobody says a word. When there’s an outbreak, the communication is basically non-existent, leaving us parents to figure it out ourselves. Honestly, I expected more 'village' support but right now it just feels disorganized and germy.

  • My toddler has been at It Takes a Village on Division for about six months now and honestly, I'm pretty relieved with how they handle the usual daycare germs. The place always looks and smells clean when I drop him off, which is a huge plus. They’re super strict about their sick policy—if a kid has a fever, they are going home, period. It can be a little annoying if you’re a working parent, but it definitely keeps the flu cycles from hitting the whole class at once. The staff is great about sending updates if something like hand, foot, and mouth is going around, so at least I’m not caught off guard. Only downside is sometimes the communication via the app is a bit slow during the day, but overall they really seem to care about keeping the kids healthy and active.
