Blooming Children's Academy, LLC

Honestly, it’s a bit of a mixed bag at Blooming Children's Academy. The staff is really sweet and they definitely care about the kids, but the communication when something like hand, foot, and mouth or a stomach bug is going around could be way better. It feels like I only find out from other moms in the parking lot rather than a quick heads-up from the office. The facility on Grand Ave looks clean enough, but with so many little ones in one space, it feels like my son is coming home with a runny nose every other week. It’s pretty standard for a city daycare, but I wish they were a bit stricter with the sick-child policy so the same cold didn't just cycle through the classroom for a month straight.

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with Blooming Children's Academy so far. They are pretty strict about their sick policy—if a kid has a runny nose that isn't clear or a slight fever, they’re calling you to pick them up—which can be a headache for work, but it definitely keeps the 'daycare plague' from spreading to everyone else. I also appreciate that they’re good about sending updates through the app if there's a stomach bug going around. It’s a solid, safe spot for the kids.
