  • Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the health environment at Mollison. My biggest concern is how often kids are out sick; the chronic absenteeism here is way too high, and it feels like there's always something going around the classrooms. With the student-to-teacher ratios where they are, I don't think the staff has the time to really keep an eye on hygiene or make sure desks are actually being wiped down properly between activities. It’s hard to feel good about the wellness culture when the attendance numbers are this low—it just feels like the school is struggling to keep a healthy baseline for the kids.

  • Honestly, I've been pretty happy with how Mollison handles health stuff. My youngest is there now and the school is usually kept really clean, which is a big plus during flu season. They are super quick to send out emails if something is going around, so I actually know when to keep an eye out for sniffles. The nurse is a sweetheart and was really patient when my son had a minor allergy scare last month. Only downside is that their sick-child policy is super strict—if they have even a tiny fever, they’re calling you to pick them up immediately—but I guess that’s why the kids aren't constantly getting each other sick.
