  • Honestly, the health and wellness culture at FTCNS is a total breath of fresh air. Since it’s a co-op, we as parents are super involved in keeping the classrooms clean, and you can really see the difference. They take their sick policy seriously—not in a mean way, but in a 'let's keep everyone's kids safe' way, which I appreciate because the usual preschool plague seems way more managed here. My kid is also outside constantly, no matter the weather, and the focus on play over screen time or sitting at desks is exactly what we wanted for his respiratory health and energy levels. It feels less like a sterile institution and more like a community looking out for each other's well-being.

  • Being a co-op, you definitely get a closer look at the health stuff than at other schools. It’s super clean because we all pitch in, and honestly, the communication when a bug is going around is top-notch—no guessing games. The downside is that since parents are so involved, the 'stay home when sick' policy is strictly enforced (which is good, but can be a juggle for working parents). Overall, it feels like a really safe, healthy little community for the kids, and I love that they prioritize outdoor play even when it's chilly out.
