  • So, Evita Trembley is super convenient because it's right in Wicker Park, but honestly, the wellness side of things has been a bit of a headache. It's tucked into a professional complex and feels really cramped and claustrophobic, which isn't great when flu season hits because the kids are basically on top of each other. I've noticed the communication about illnesses going around is pretty spotty—sometimes I only find out a kid has hand-foot-mouth after mine already has symptoms.

  • I want to love this spot because the location in Wicker Park is so convenient, but the health side of things is honestly stressing me out. It feels like every other week there’s a bug going around the classroom and communication from the staff is pretty hit or miss. The space is inside a professional complex and feels a bit cramped and stuffy, which probably explains why the kids are always passing colds back and forth. I haven't seen a very strict sick-policy enforced, so parents end up dropping off kids who are clearly unwell, and then everyone else pays for it. For what we're paying for childcare in this neighborhood, I expected a much cleaner environment and better updates on when illnesses are spiking. It’s been a constant cycle of runny noses and fevers since we started.
