  • Honestly, Erie House has been such a relief for our family. Since it targets the West Town neighborhood and specifically helps immigrant families, they really get the 'whole child' thing. They don't just look at if the kid has a runny nose; they actually have mental health support and resources integrated into the daycare, which you don't see everywhere. The facilities are kept pretty clean for being such a busy non-profit, and the staff is really proactive about safety and health checks in the mornings. My only gripe is that because they do so much for the community, it can feel a little chaotic during drop-off, but knowing there's a real nurse and support system there makes me feel way better about leaving my little one.

  • I've had my little one at Erie House for a while now and honestly, their health game is pretty solid for a busy daycare. Since it’s a nonprofit, you can tell they really care about the community and keep the place super clean. They’re super strict about kids coming in with a fever or a bad cough, which can be annoying when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the 'daycare plague' from spreading to everyone else. Communication is usually through a quick talk at pickup or a flyer, which works for me. My only gripe is I wish they had a bit more outdoor time when it’s chilly, but overall they do a great job keeping the kiddos healthy and safe.
