Diversey Day Care Center & Kindergarten

To be honest, I've been pretty stressed since we started here. The building always feels a bit stuffy and neglected, and it seems like there's a permanent stomach bug or cold going around the classroom because the sick-child policy isn't strictly enforced. I'm also really concerned because I saw they are flagged as 'Risk 1' (High Risk) on the city's health inspection data. For a place taking care of toddlers and preschoolers, it just doesn't feel like the hygiene and ventilation are where they need to be. It’s affordable for the neighborhood, but I'm constantly worried about what my kid is picking up there.

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with how Diversey Day Care handles all the germs that come with preschool. They’re super strict about their sick policy—if your kid as a fever, they’re going home, no questions asked—which can be a pain for working parents but it definitely keeps the classroom outbreaks to a minimum. The teachers are great about reminding the littles to wash their hands, and the facility always smells clean, not like old milk or anything. I also appreciate that they actually send out emails when something like HFM is going around so we aren't caught off guard. Only downside is the outdoor play area is a bit small, but they do their best to get the kids moving every day.
