Diana's Playpen of Little Genius's

Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation at Diana’s Playpen. It feels like my little one is coming home with a new bug every other week, and the communication about what's going around the classroom is basically non-existent. The facility on Western Ave is a bit cramped and doesn't always feel like the deep cleaning is happening as often as it should given how many kids are packed into the space. I've also noticed that the sick-child policy is super lax—I see kids being dropped off with obvious fevers or runny noses all the time, and it just sweeps through the whole center. It’s tough because we need the childcare, but the constant revolving door of germs and the generally high student-to-teacher ratio makes me feel like they can't really stay on top of the kids' hygiene or wellness. I'm definitely looking into other options that take sanitization and health boundaries a bit more seriously.

My little one has been at Diana’s for a few months now and honestly, I’m pretty happy with how they handle germs. It’s a daycare in the city so you expect some sniffles, but the staff is really on top of wiping down the toys and the common areas on both floors. They’re super strict about the fever policy—if your kid is even slightly warm, they’re calling you to pick them up, which can be a pain for work but it definitely keeps the whole class from getting taken out by a bug. Communication is usually just a quick text or a heads-up at pickup if something is going around. It feels clean and the vibe is healthy, just wish they had a bit more outdoor space for them to run around when the weather is nice!
