Cuppycakes Early Learning Academy LLC

I really wanted to love Cuppycakes since it's right here in Uptown, but I've been pretty frustrated with the health situation lately. It feels like my little one is catching something new every other week because the sick-child policy isn't strictly enforced—I’ve seen kids dropped off with clear fevers and runny noses more than once. The space is pretty cramped for a preschool and it doesn't always feel like the deepest clean is happening at the end of the day. Plus, communication from the staff when a bug is going around the classroom is super hit or miss. For what we're paying, I expected a much more proactive approach to keeping the environment germ-free for the kids.

My little one has been at Cuppycakes for a few months now and I’ve been pretty happy with how they handle the usual preschool germs. The place always smells clean when I walk in, and they’re actually really strict about the fever-free rule, which is annoying when you have to miss work, but it definitely keeps the whole class from getting taken out at once. Communicating through the app about any cases of hand, foot, and mouth or pink eye is super fast too. Only downside is the cubby area gets a bit cluttered/dusty sometimes, but overall, they really seem to care about keeping the kids healthy.
