  • My kid has been at the Uptown location for a while now and it’s honestly just okay. The building itself is on a busy corner so I'm always a little worried about the air quality and noise, but they did put up bollards outside recently which makes me feel a bit better about safety when we're walking in. Communication about bugs or colds going around is decent, but it feels like there's always something spreading through the classrooms during the winter months. The staff is nice, but they seem pretty stretched thin sometimes which makes me wonder if the cleaning is as deep as it should be. It’s a standard city daycare—not amazing, but it gets the job done if you need local childcare.

  • I've had my little one at Christopher House for a year now and honesty, the health standards are pretty solid. The teachers are really on top of making sure the kids wash their hands as soon as they get into the classroom, which helps with the typical daycare germs. They're definitely strict about the fever-free for 24 hours rule before coming back, which can be a pain for working parents but I totally get why they do it. Communicating when someone in the class gets sick is usually pretty fast via the app too. Only downside is the shared spaces get a lot of traffic, but overall it feels clean and the staff actually cares about keeping the kids healthy.
