  • To be honest, I’m pretty frustrated with how things are going at Culture of Safety in Rogers Park. For a place named 'Culture of Safety,' there’s a real lack of transparency regarding their actual health protocols or even if they have a dedicated nurse on staff. My biggest concern is the student-to-teacher ratio; it feels way too high for an urban daycare, and honestly, the staff looks spread so thin they can't possibly keep up with sanitizing toys or monitoring every runny nose. My little one has been bringing home every bug under the sun since starting here. I was hoping for a more robust wellness culture, but it feels like they talk a big game about 'safety' without having the actual staffing or modern ventilation to back it up in that Clark St building. Definitely not what I expected for the price.

  • Culture of Safety in Rogers Park has been pretty solid for us. The space is always clean when I drop off my toddler, and you can tell they actually scrub the toys down. I really appreciate how transparent they are when something is going around—last month we got an email the same day a kid in the class had a fever, which helps me plan ahead. Their sick policy is a bit strict (the whole 24-hour fever-free rule without meds), but honestly, it’s why the kids aren't constantly passing things back and forth. It’s a nice, safe little spot for the neighborhood.
