  • Honestly, I’m pretty worried about the environment at Sherman lately. The school is older and it feels like it’s falling apart—I saw on the board agenda that they’re just now getting around to fixing window balances in some classrooms, which makes me wonder about the ventilation and how much dust or mold is hanging around. On top of the building issues, the attendance is a real struggle for the kids here. A lot of students are missing school regularly, and it feels like there isn't a solid system to keep everyone healthy or engaged. With such a small student body, you’d think they’d have a better handle on the wellness culture, but it feels like they’re just scraping by with the bare minimum repairs while the overall vibe is pretty sluggish.
