  • Honestly, Graham has been a pleasant surprise for our family since we started in PK. The school has a solid wellness score and you can actually tell they care about keeping the place clean and the kids healthy. For a neighborhood school in Canaryville, they do a better job than most at keeping parents in the loop when something is going around the classrooms. The nurse situation is decent and the attendance rates are strong, which usually means they aren't dealing with constant outbreaks like some other CPS schools. My only minor gripe is that since it's an older building, I feel like the ventilation could be better when it's really cold outside, but otherwise, they have a great wellness culture and the staff is on top of it.

  • Graham is a solid neighborhood school for Canaryville. I’ve noticed they’re pretty on top of it when stuff starts going around the classrooms; the nurse actually calls you if there's an issue instead of just sending a generic email. The building is older, but the custodial staff works hard to keep the halls and the lunchroom looking clean every day. My only gripe is that the 'sick policy' can be a little inconsistent depending on which teacher you have, but overall, it feels like a safe, healthy place for my kids. They’ve been really good lately about promoting hand washing and making sure the kids get outside for fresh air even when it’s chilly.
