  • Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation here. The space is super small/cramped and since it's just one room in a busy part of Milwaukee Ave, the ventilation feels nonexistent. My little one has been bringing home every single cold and stomach bug imaginable since starting. It feels like the 'sick child' policy is more of a suggestion than a rule because there are always kids there with clear fevers and runny noses. Communication from the staff about outbreaks is spotty at best—you usually find out your kid was exposed to hand-foot-and-mouth after they already have spots. It’s a convenient location if you live in Wicker, but for the price, I expected a much cleaner environment and better health protocols.
