  • Honestly, it's a bit of a mixed bag at Tiny Giants. The facility itself is newer and looks really nice and clean when you walk in, which is a relief compared to some other Chicago daycares. They are pretty strict about the sickness policy—if your kid even looks like they have a runny nose, they’re calling you to pick them up, which is annoying for work but I guess it keeps the germs down. My main gripe is the communication; sometimes it feels like the staff is spread way too thin and it’s hard to get a straight answer on how my kid is actually doing health-wise during the day. It’s an okay spot, but expect the usual preschool plague to hit your house regardless of how much they scrub the floors.

  • Honestly, we’ve been really happy with the health vibe at Tiny Giants. Since it’s a smaller preschool/daycare setting, the teachers actually know the kids well, which helps when someone is starting to look a little under the weather. The place always smells clean when I drop off, not like that weird stale-milk-and-bleach smell you get at some centers. They are pretty strict about their sick policy—if your kid has a fever or a weird cough, they are going home—which is annoying if you’re a working parent, but it definitely keeps the 'daycare plague' from spreading to everyone else. The urban campus is kept up well, and I haven't seen any of the gross maintenance issues people complain about at other Chicago facilities.
