  • I've been sending my little one to The Baby Academy in Chatham and honestly, it’s one of the cleaner spots I’ve seen for a neighborhood daycare. They really lean into the Early Head Start standards, so they're pretty strict about hygiene and keeping the classrooms sanitized. I appreciated that they actually boosted their cleaning routines recently—you can tell when you walk in that it doesn't have that 'stale' daycare smell. Plus, they offer these free baby safety and breastfeeding classes which is a nice touch for the wellness culture there. My only gripe is that because it's a smaller setup, when a bug does go around, it can hit the staff pretty hard, which makes drop-off a bit chaotic. But overall, they seem to really stay on top of the health and safety stuff which gives me some peace of mind.
