  • Ravenswood is a decent neighborhood school, but it definitely shows its age. The building is pretty old, so there’s always that lingering worry about air quality and old dust, though I did see they’re getting some new floor mats and minor facility upgrades recently. My main gripe is the playground—it's mostly just asphalt, which isn't great for skinned knees and means the kids are just running around on hot pavement during recess instead of a more modern, green space. Communication about when bugs are going around is okay, but it honestly feels like your typical, slightly underfunded CPS health environment.
