Ramona's Lovely Touch Academy III

Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation at Ramona’s. It feels like my little one is coming home with a new bug every single week, and I’m not convinced they’re actually enforcing the sick-child policy. The hand-washing seems hit or miss, and the facility just doesn't have that 'clean' smell you'd expect for a daycare. Plus, with the ratios being what they are, the staff seems way too overwhelmed to stay on top of sanitizing toys or checking if a kid has a runny nose before they start sharing everything. It’s hard to stay at a job when you're constantly getting calls to pick up a sick kid, but then you see other kids hacking and coughing in the classroom the next morning. Definitely local, but the wellness standards just aren't there.

Honestly, I’m pretty sketched out by this place lately. We started here because the staff seemed nice, but the health standards are super inconsistent. The building on Commercial Ave feels really cramped, and I honestly don't think the ventilation is great because it feels like every time one kid gets a sniffle, the whole room is down for a week. Communication is a mess too—sometimes you get a heads-up about a virus going around, and other times you just find out when your kid comes home with a fever. Plus, looking them up online is a nightmare; half the sites say it's a beauty school or a wellness center, and the daycare isn't even BBB accredited. It’s hard to trust the wellness of the environment when they can’t even get their basic business licensing and identity straight. We are looking for somewhere cleaner and more professional for next year.
