Ramona's Lovely Touch Academy II

To be honest, I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health situation here. The space feels really cramped and honestly, the cleanliness is hit or miss—I've noticed dust and grime in the corners where the kids play more than once. It feels like every time a bug goes around the neighborhood, my kid picks it up immediately because they don't seem to enforce the sick policy very strictly. Communication is also super spotty; I usually find out there's been a hand-foot-and-mouth outbreak from another mom in the parking lot rather than an official notice from the school. Just doesn't feel like the healthiest environment right now.

Honestly, I have some mixed feelings about the health situation at Ramona’s. It’s in a convenient spot in South Chicago, but the facility feels a bit cramped and the ventilation isn't great, which makes me worry every time a cold starts going around the classroom. It seems like kids are constantly coming in with runny noses and coughs, and the sick policy feels pretty loosely enforced compared to other daycares we’ve used. I noticed they aren't BBB accredited either, which just adds to my hesitation about how they handle the behind-the-scenes stuff like deep cleaning. It’s okay if you’re in a pinch, but I’ve definitely seen centers that feel much cleaner and more on top of illness prevention.
