Ramona's Lovely Touch Academy

I really wanted to love this place because it’s convenient, but I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health situation lately. It feels like every other week my little one is coming home with a new bug, and I’m not convinced the cleaning routine is as thorough as it needs to be for such a small space. Communication when kids get sick is super spotty—I usually find out about a 'flu going around' from another parent in the parking lot rather than a formal notice from the academy. Also, the student-to-teacher ratio seems pretty high sometimes, so I worry the staff is just too stretched thin to keep up with sanitizing toys or catching symptoms early. Definitely thinking about looking into other options in South Chicago if things don't improve.

To be honest, I've had a pretty rough experience with the health standards here. The communication when kids get sick is super hit or miss, and it feels like there's always something going around because the sick-child policy isn't strictly enforced. The building itself on Commercial Ave feels a bit cramped and old, which makes me worry about the ventilation and how well things are actually being sanitized at the end of the day. It's also confusing because search results sometimes show them as a beauty school or not being BBB accredited, which doesn't exactly scream 'professional childcare' to me. I'm looking for somewhere that feels a bit more on top of hygiene and safety.
