Paul Revere Elementary School

I honestly have mixed feelings about the health situation at Revere. While the school talks about having a 'Wellness Center' and some flexibility with their curriculum, the reality on the ground feels a lot more chaotic. The chronic absenteeism in these CPS schools is a huge red flag—it feels like there is always a bug going around and the communication on when kids should actually stay home or come back is super spotty. With the student-teacher ratios being what they are, the staff just seems too stretched thin to really keep an eye on hygiene or deep cleaning. It’s frustrating because you want to feel like your kid is in a clean, healthy environment, but mostly it just feels like we're constantly dodging the next round of flu or congestion because the building isn't kept up well enough.
