To be honest, I’ve got some real concerns about how Bateman handles the health environment. The chronic absenteeism rate is hovering around 30%, which is super high and makes me worry about how many kids are actually coming to school sick or if the building itself isn't great. With the student-to-counselor ratio being as high as it is, my kid really doesn't get much one-on-one support when they are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. It feels less like a wellness focus and more like they're just struggling to keep up with the basics. Communication about illness outbreaks in the classroom has been pretty hit or miss, which is frustrating when you're trying to keep the whole family healthy.
