Gateway Montessori School

My three-year-old has been at Gateway since she was an infant, and overall I'm really happy with how they handle the environment. The classrooms always look super clean and organized whenever I'm there for drop-off, which is a big relief because you know how germs just fly around in preschools. They've been great about staying on top of licensing and health protocols, and the small, multi-age setup seems to keep the constant 'daycare plague' at bay better than bigger centers I've seen. Honestly, it feels like a very calm, safe space where they actually pay attention to the kids' well-being instead of just being a chaotic playroom.

Our little one has been at Gateway for a year now and the health environment is pretty solid. Being a Montessori school, they really emphasize the kids washing their own hands and being independent with hygiene, which I think helps keep the seasonal sniffles down a bit. The classrooms always look clean and staged perfectly when I drop off. They’re fairly strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a pain for working parents but honestly, it’s why the whole class doesn’t get taken out at once. My only small gripe is the communication when something like hand-foot-and-mouth is going around; it could be a little faster, but overall, it's a very healthy and calm space for the kids.
