Fit City Kids

I honestly can't say enough about how clean this place is, which is a huge relief when you're looking at daycares in the city. Since it's basically a massive gym and fitness center, they seem way more on top of sanitizing the equipment and play areas than the smaller storefront spots I've toured. My kid is always active there with the tumbling and ball sports, so they're actually burning off energy instead of just sitting in a cramped room spreading germs. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a place that actually prioritizes physical movement and a healthy lifestyle. Plus, I’ve noticed the staff is really proactive about keeping things wiped down even during open play hours. Definitely feels like a step up in terms of the environment compared to other local options.

Honestly, Fit City Kids has been such a relief for us since moving to Lincoln Square. Since it’s a smaller storefront space, I was a little worried about germs spreading fast, but they actually do a great job keeping the play areas wiped down. My daughter hasn't come home with nearly as many sniffles as she did at her last place! They’re pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a pain when you have to work, but I appreciate that it keeps the other kids from getting hit. They also get the kids moving a lot, which is nice for an urban daycare where outdoor space is a bit limited.
