  • Adler Schools is okay for daycare, but it definitely feels like your average city facility. The location in Lincoln Square is super convenient, but the indoor space can feel a bit cramped when all the kids are there, which makes it feel like germs just cycle through the rooms constantly. Communication about when a bug is going around is hit or miss—sometimes you get a heads-up, other times you just find out when your kid comes home with a fever. It’s licensed and they seem to follow basic cleaning protocols, but it’s nothing over-the-top or 'wellness-focused' like some of the newer centers. Just a standard, middle-of-the-road option for childcare.

  • We've been at Adler for a few months now and honestly, I’m pretty happy with how they handle the usual daycare germs. The facility on Lawrence always looks well-kept and doesn't have that weird 'old milk' smell some places get. They are super strict about their sick policy—if your kid has a fever, they are definitely calling you to pick them up right away, which can be a hassle for work but I appreciate that it keeps the constant hand-foot-mouth cycles to a minimum. My only minor gripe is sometimes the communication about when a specific bug is going around a classroom could be a little faster, but the teachers are so sweet and really do care about the kids' well-being.
