  • Honestly, Concordia Place has been a breath of fresh air compared to other daycares we looked at. The Whipple location is always super tidy when I drop off my toddler, and you don't get that 'dirty diaper' smell that haunts some centers. I really appreciate their sickness policy; they’re pretty firm about kids staying home with a fever, which is annoying for my work schedule but keeps the classroom 'crud' from making the rounds every other week. Communication is solid too, like they'll actually call you and give a heads up if something's going around. It’s a relief knowing the space is clean and the staff actually cares about keeping the kids healthy.

  • Honestly, I’ve been pretty happy with how Concordia Place handles the health stuff. It’s a daycare in Chicago, so you expect the usual seasonal bugs to go around, but they’re actually really on top of cleaning and have a solid sick-child policy that they actually enforce. My little one hasn't been nearly as sick as my neighbor's kid who goes elsewhere. The indoor space on Whipple feels bright and well-kept, which is a big relief when you're worried about germs. They seem to have good community support and funding, so I think that helps with keeping things staffed and tidy. Only downside is the communication can be a bit slow if there's a minor thing like a diaper rash, but for the big stuff like fevers or flu notices, they are super quick.
