  • I've been sending my little one to the Seeley location and honestly, the cleanliness is what stands out most to me. You know how daycares can usually smell like old juice and diapers? This place actually stays on top of it. I’ve never had a worry about the health or safety protocols here; they seem to have a really solid handle on sanitizing the toys and common areas. Communication about whatever bug is going around the classroom is pretty prompt too, which I appreciate so I can watch for symptoms early. It’s a relief finding a spot in North Center that doesn't feel like a total germ factory.

  • Concordia Place is decent for a Chicago daycare, but it’s definitely a mixed bag when it comes to the kids' health. The facilities on Seeley and Whipple are usually clean enough, but honestly, it feels like there is always a bug going around the classrooms. They are pretty strict about the sick policy—if your kid has a fever, they are calling you immediately and you have to keep them home for 24 hours—which is great for stopping the spread, but it's a huge headache for working parents when the 'wellness' communication doesn't always feel proactive. The teacher-to-child ratios are okay, but during the peak winter sick season, the staff seems really overwhelmed and the hand-washing protocols definitely start to slip. It's a standard neighborhood spot, not particularly amazing on the wellness front, but better than some of the other overcrowded options in North Center.
