Cherish With Love and Care Before & After Care LLC

I was super nervous about daycare germs, but Cherish With Love and Care has been a pleasant surprise. The place is actually clean and doesn't have that 'old gym' smell you find in a lot of after-school spots in West Englewood. They just had a health inspection recently and passed with zero violations, which is a huge relief for me since my youngest picks up everything. They seem really on top of their cleaning routine and I haven't seen any of the pest issues or mold problems that you hear about at some other local centers. Plus, the staff really seems to care about the kids' hygiene and making sure they're actually safe and healthy while they're there.

So far, I've had a solid experience with the team at Cherish With Love and Care. Since it's a smaller spot in West Englewood, it doesn't feel like those giant 'germ factory' centers where things just get messy. The facility always smells clean when I drop off my daughter for the after-school program, and I’ve noticed the staff are pretty on top of making sure the kids wash their hands as soon as they get in from school. They’re also really clear about their sick policy—if a kid has a fever, they have to stay home, no exceptions—which I appreciate because it keeps the bugs from spreading to everyone else. Only minor thing is I wish they’d send out a quick text or email faster when there's a cough going around the group, but overall, it’s a healthy and safe environment for my kiddo.
