  • To be honest, I’m pretty frustrated with the situation at Rainforest. It feels like every other week my kid is coming home with some new bug because the sick-child policy is super lax—parents definitely drop off their kids when they're visibly unwell, and the staff doesn't really push back. The space itself at 4725 N Western is really tight, and with so many little ones packed into that storefront area, germs just spread like wildfire. Communication about 'what is going around' is almost non-existent until half the class is out. I get that daycare is a germ factory, but it feels like they’re struggling to keep up with the cleaning and the student-to-teacher ratio seems high for an early childhood setting. Definitely not the healthiest environment right now.

  • I really wanted to love this place because it's convenient, but I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health environment lately. It feels like every other week there's a new bug going around the classroom and I’m not sure if the cleaning protocols are actually being followed or if they're just short-staffed. My little one has come home with more 'mystery' sniffles than I can count, and the communication about when kids should stay home is super inconsistent. It’s hard to feel confident as a parent when you feel like the facility isn't being 100% transparent about illness outbreaks until half the class is already out sick.
