  • I'm honestly pretty frustrated with how things are handled at Honeybees. It feels like my little one is coming home with a new bug every single week, and I rarely get a heads-up from the staff that something is going around until it’s already hit our house. The communication regarding sick policies is super vague, and I’ve definitely seen kids dropped off who were clearly too unwell to be there, so they aren't really enforcing the rules. It's a small space, and in an urban area like this, things spread fast if you aren't on top of sanitizing. I really want to like it because the location is convenient, but the wellness culture just isn't where it needs to be for me to feel comfortable.

  • Honeybees is honestly pretty great with how they handle the little ones. My daughter has been there for about 6 months and it’s always super clean when I drop her off. They are really strict about the 'fever-free for 24 hours' rule, which can be a pain when you have to work, but it definitely keeps the nasty bugs from spreading through the whole classroom. I also love that they actually make sure the kids wash their hands correctly before snack time. Communication is usually via text or a quick chat at pickup, so I always feel in the loop if someone in her class has a runny nose. Only downside is the urban setting means no big green space, but they do their best to keep the indoor air fresh and the kids active!
