To be honest, I'm pretty stressed out with the situation here lately. It’s a very small, neighborhood-style setup which sounds nice, but they seem really short-staffed and the turnover is high. My little one has been coming home with a runny nose or a stomach bug almost every other week, and I honestly don't think they have a solid cleaning routine or a strict sick-child policy in place. The communication when someone in the class gets sick is basically non-existent—I usually only find out from other parents. It’s hard to feel good about a 'wellness culture' when the facility feels cramped and they don't seem to have the resources to keep things as sanitized as a daycare should be. I'm definitely looking into other options for next season.

I've had my little one at Amazing Grace for a few months now and honestly, the staff is really on top of the cleaning. When you walk in, it doesn't have that 'old daycare' smell, you know? They're pretty strict about the sick policy—if a kid has a runny nose or a fever, they're calling you to come get them right away. It can be a bit of a hassle for work, but I appreciate that it keeps the whole class from getting hit with every bug going around the South Shore. Communication is usually through texts or quick chats at pick-up, nothing fancy but it works. Only downside is sometimes the hand-off area gets a bit hectic and cluttered, but otherwise, I feel like my kid is in a healthy environment.
