  • Honestly, I'm pretty worried about the state of the building at Talman lately. I saw on some official CPS agendas that there's an active roof leak in the main building that needs major repairs, and it's making me wonder about mold and dampness in the classrooms where my kid spends all day. The student-teacher ratio is actually decent, but the physical environment feels like it's falling apart. Communication from the school about these facility issues has been pretty quiet, which doesn't sit right with me when it comes to the kids' health. It’s hard to feel good about the 'wellness' side of things when they’re literally patching up leaks while school is in session.
