My kid has been at Hale for a few years now and it’s a bit of a mixed bag honestly. On the plus side, that edible garden they have is actually really cool—it's nice to see the kids learning about where food comes from and getting some fresh air. It feels like they try to push a wellness culture, which I appreciate. But, the communication from the administration can be super spotty. Whenever there's a bug going around or a health concern, it feels like we're the last to know, and getting a straight answer from the office is like pulling teeth. The building is older too, so while it's mostly kept up, you can tell the ventilation isn't the greatest. It’s an okay school, but I wish they were more proactive about keeping parents in the loop when things come up.
